Precious is in her third year of the Bachelor of Business Administration and chose Northrise because it is a Christ-centered university and feels it will shape her in all aspects of her life, not just academics. After graduation she would like to start her own unique business - a recreational facility to bring families together and keep teens busy.

Precious loves children and especially enjoys teaching Sunday School. Being a very inquisitive person, Precious spends her spare time with friends, watching documentaries, reading inspirational books or just catching up on the world. Her favorite book is Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers. Precious believes that her education is opening up her mind to have a broader perspective of the business world and hopes that she can assist in helping Zambia’s economic development through job creation.

Kenneth was born in Germany and grew up in Botswana but says that “Zambia holds my future now.” He is in his second year of the Bachelor of Information Technology program at Northrise. As an avid football (soccer) fan he loves spending time with his “mates” watching a good old English derby. He chose to study at Northrise because of its computer degree and he is very passionate about computers.

After graduation, Kenneth would like to pursue a Master’s degree and some day open his own consulting firm in software design or systems analysis. Kenneth has two hopes for his adopted home of Zambia - to qualify for the 2010 World Cup and more importantly to prosper as a nation and educate the people to eradicate poverty.
Northrise to him means “a second chance in life".
