Student Sponsorship

"I may be a stranger to you but you have played a huge role in my life, one that I can never forget or take for granted"

- Banji Simasiku (student)

What You Give

In a nation of 11.5 million people, 46 percent of the Zambian population is children under the age of 15. Only 2 percent of eligible students are enrolled in a university, giving this generation little hope for future education. The need for higher education in Zambia is vital; without it, bright young men and women would be working in factories, burning charcoal, and hawking wares on the side of the road instead of becoming the teachers, ministers, and business leaders of tomorrow.

The Student Sponsorship Program is a concrete way of providing hope to this generation. As a student sponsor you give a student the gift of a quality education that can provide them with the skills to succeed throughout life.

$3,000 will cover a student's full year of tuition and meals:

Tuition & fees: $2,400

Meals: $ 600

What You Get

"The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have too much... it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little"

-Franklin Delano Roosevelt
